If you could evisorate one book thoroughly and completely, which would it be?

That's because you're an SP and severely engrammed due to event 1. nothing that a bit of auditing wouldn't clear, the road to clear is yours' so long as you've got a spare $100K.
Hahaha... Love it.

True story, but off-topic.

When I was 21 or so, I was downtown one day and walked by the Scientology offices. A nice person was out front and asked if I'd be interested in taking their free Personality Test. I smiled and said, "Sure, why not? It might be fun."

Did the test and waited for the analysis dude to call me over. Studiously he went over the paper, reading to himself, making notes as he went. Finally he began talking and saying this and that. Then he said, "You are also self-centred." (Inwardly I roared with laughter... I was a 21 year old male... what did they expect?) But... before he could go on I said, that I didn't look at it in that way and said, "I prefer to think of it as being centred in myself."

He paused, made a few other comments and said, "Frankly sir, Scientology has nothing to offer you. Have a good day." You could have knocked me over with a feather. They didn't want me. *sniffle*

I guess I didn't react appropriately to his "penetrating" psychological analysis.

Destroying a book would mean destroying someone's right to express themselves and I'm against that. I would however like to encourage people to think more for themselves and ask more questions and do more research before believing in some particular literary work.

P.S. I LOVE the Lord of the Rings!

I am attracted to this post like I have to find such a book. But then I noticed every book that I havent read are all considered as 'destroyed' for me. :) sad. Glad at least one person has read them. :-D

My choice would have to be Dianetics by L. Ron Hubbard of Scientology fame. It is the only book I ever threw across the room while reading it. It landed next to the waste basket, where it sat for about a week. I'm also tempted to include the Qur'an, but I think too many people would be horribly offended.

Don't hate on Hubbard. Try reading battlefield earth or his ten book story(dexology?)

He set out to make a boatload of $$ with scientology and it worked

I made it about 20 pages into Battlefield Earth. It's part of the reason of WHY I hate on Hubbard.

20 pages out of 1000.

That far into the Bible.adam and eve were still strolling in the garden. Lot happens after that

Not trying to convince. Anyone can argue Gods and the afterlife. Important stuff like what books are good is too personal to debate
