If you were going to create a holiday, what would it be?

Reverse Valentine's Day, AKA Hate Day. People would exchange rotten cakes and withered flowers with their hated ones, along with sending them black heart emojis and cards bearing such beautiful phrases as "I hate you more than I hate doing my taxes!" and "My life wouldn't be the same without knowing you—it would be much better!"
Oh man! So many possibilities there:

"I keep missing you,
Guess I need to spend more time practicing with my slingshot
".

"Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
My life was just perfect,
Then I met you".

"You actually did promise me a rose garden.
Expect to hear from my lawyer".

Dude, we need to open up a store on Etsy. Like right now.

Unfiltered Reality Day

On this day everybody everywhere would get in line at their local drugstore, clinic, or one of the many kiosks set up the night before to get an injection of truth serum, and then spend the rest of the day sitting in front of a mirror.
Suicide is already a big problem, why do you want to multiply it?

Why not keep it on May 25th, the traditional date?

AI Overview
"In The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams, a towel is described as "the most massively useful thing an interstellar hitchhiker can have". Fans of the book celebrate Towel Day on May 25th each year by carrying a towel to show their appreciation for the author and his work".

Not sure why they picked May 25th. Adam's birthday is the 11th of March.

I was going to suggest that pamphlets be given out at the kiosks with the number for a suicide hotline.

They didn't want to wait 10 months for the Memorial Day. Douglas Adams died on May 11th.

Useful addition. For most people, reality is a foreign point of view, and as we know, “It can be very dangerous to see things from somebody else's point of view without the proper training.” ― Douglas Adams, Mostly Harmless

Ah, I didn't know that.

Well, they say it's dangerous to wake up a sleepwalker.

"Be strong", I whispered to my coffee.

I don't think things would be as different as you might expect.

I realise it can be something of a mad house already but it would be a fun day anyway and you get a day off... What could be bettee
