Oh man! So many possibilities there:Reverse Valentine's Day, AKA Hate Day. People would exchange rotten cakes and withered flowers with their hated ones, along with sending them black heart emojis and cards bearing such beautiful phrases as "I hate you more than I hate doing my taxes!" and "My life wouldn't be the same without knowing you—it would be much better!"
Many countries already have that.A children’s day!
We have a Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, and grandparents day. I think the children should be celebrated too!
I was thinking of something for the Juggalos that also more broadly to the downtrodden and those crapped on by society at large.Oh so like an RF Purge Night. I think we should try it sometime
It could be held on Douglas Adams' birthday.I would make Towel Day an international holiday. A bathrobe is optional, but a towel is mandatory.
Why not keep it on May 25th, the traditional date?It could be held on Douglas Adams' birthday.
Suicide is already a big problem, why do you want to multiply it?Unfiltered Reality Day
On this day everybody everywhere would get in line at their local drugstore, clinic, or one of the many kiosks set up the night before to get an injection of truth serum, and then spend the rest of the day sitting in front of a mirror.

They didn't want to wait 10 months for the Memorial Day. Douglas Adams died on May 11th.AI Overview

Not sure why they picked May 25th. Adam's birthday is the 11th of March.
Useful addition. For most people, reality is a foreign point of view, and as we know, “It can be very dangerous to see things from somebody else's point of view without the proper training.” ― Douglas Adams, Mostly HarmlessI was going to suggest that pamphlets be given out at the kiosks with the number for a suicide hotline.

I think his death date would be better because I imagine the way he died is secretly considered a very glorious and distinguished death among British comedians, to get slapped by irony so hard that it kills you.Why not keep it on May 25th, the traditional date?

I second this. And when it gets accepted as an annual holiday, we should make it monthly and over time a day of the week.International Truce Day.
No war allowed on this day.
