If you were not your current religion, what would you be?

Too much of a slacker to feel I deserve the right to call myself a Buddhist. If I call myself any religion, I want to be able to own it. Buddhism is more like a pastime.

Like I've said, "Hey I never said I was a good Buddhist." In fact, I may be more Taoist than anything, but... either way. I'm more Dharmic than not.

Not your average Mormon
If I were to leave Mormonism (not much chance of that, by the way) but were to remain a Christian, I'd probably go with either Eastern Orthodoxy or Roman Catholicism. I'd have to look into both of them a little more before making my decision. If I were to leave Christianity altogether, I'd join the Baha'i Faith.

Me Myself

If I didn´t felt faith and a lot of things that have happened to me that make me to beleive in supernatural, I would be atheist

Now I know atheism is no religion, but the only "religion" but I am not very religious, so for me it would be if I didn´t belief in the supernatural, I could see atheism as being obvious.

Hence I tend to symphatize with them in a lot of debate points. Mostly when people think God existence is "obvious" (when according to logic, it doesn´t need to be)

If I wasn't a Gaudiya Vaishnava... I would be a Nimbarki Vaishnava.

:D

If I wasn't a Vaishnava, I would be an Arya Samaji, or part of the Arya Samaj religion. :)

I find any religion to be too constraining for me but some of my favorites:

Sufism
Unitarians
Zen Buddhism

I have a great love of Sufist philosophy but ultimately cannot reconcile myself to any part of Islam. Unitarianism is the most appealing type of Christianity out there. I would probably end up joining Zen Buddhism though if I truly aligned myself with any religion.

Hard to say. There are many religions, beliefs and philosophies in the world. If I knew enough of them I'd be able to tell you confidently. If I had to choose though I'd probably say Shinto(ism)
