"Imagine"

It's really not imaginary--that is exactly what God promises, a paradise earth where ALL worries of life will be done away with.

If you research "hell" you will see that it is not a fiery place where people burn eternally. It is another word for the common grave of man. In paradise earth, "death" will be no more. So truly no hell will be below us.

People will not live for "today". They have a promise of living forever, eternally. Now that's unimaginable, but promised by the keeper of all promises, Jehovah God.

There will be no borders dividing people, countries, nationalism, etc. There will be religion, one common religion where all worship in harmony.

"Living life in peace", Yes. Jehovah is the only one who can deliver true peace and security.

Ernestine,

I like to think that I live for today. Perhaps I am fooling myself. Am I lying to myself, and you know better than I?

As for the promise, I reject your revealed faith in Jehovah, so does that "count me out"?

Curious,

The bit I find a problem in this song is the line where he talks about no one having any money.

John Lennon.

No money.

A LITTLE hypocritcal, yes?
