Immigration - good or bad for working class?

Hi, I can't quite work this one out.

I would have thought that mass immigration would be bad for the local working classes, as the market would be flooded with cheap labor.

Yet, most Socialsist parties seem to say it's a good thing.

Now , how does that even make any sense at all?

Well, so far the the local working classes do not want to do the jobs that the immigrants are willing to do at the wages that are being paid. And because US and world economies are pretty much still in recession most employers really do not have the money to pay higher wages for these jobs. Also a lot of problems would be created if no one was willing to do the jobs that the immigrants are willing to do. That is my guess in answer to your question and yours "is" a good question in my opinion.

My whole point is this non white immigrant Nazi giving national socialist hails is not only a hazard but a travesty and should not be allowed, if it was not for the British and allied forces who died in a war to free the world from the threat of Nazism then non of those immigrants here now would be in the United Kingdom and many would be dead, Field Marshall Montgomery would turn in his grave if you knew what a mockery the country had become after hundreds and thousands of soldiers died so that the world could be free of national socialism, it was not just black Africans but also eastern Europeans non of which would be here in England had the 1930s to1940 fascist regime of Europe won the war, what would Winston Churchill say and lord Chamberlain say? it is not British politics is what he would say nor is it just, how can some people be so ignorant right here and now today, I mean the death toll was millions many of them Eastern European as well as blacks what in all of common sense are they thinking and I say again as for the swastika don't even go there because it is an Indian symbol and that is all I recognize of it,

They should check American History them selves and see the different images of the swastikas as is

You seem to be pro-mass immigration..
When large sectors of our market towns and cities are non-English speaking areas, when we have a huge oversupply in the unskilled labour market, and when an oversupply in the unskilled labour market compresses wages for the ordinary worker, the pro-mass immigration cause breaks down.
