Seriously?

What would the world be like if nobody was concerned with the lives of others?

One would bath in food while people starve at their doorstep, to name just one thing.
You misinterpreted what I said.

I wasn’t saying that we not care about other. I was talking about concerning ourselves with the lives of others by means of imposing our own cultural or social standards or beliefs upon them.

Also, we’re discussing cultural genital alteration, not people starving.

Which is physical mutilation.
Doesn't trying to prevent unnecessary physical mutilation fall in the category of "caring for others"?
Sure.

Does caring for other give you latitude to intervene in the cultural practices of others?

How far you want do you want to go with this? Want to join me in a protest outside of Claire's at the mall to ban ear piercing? That's "physical mutilation," too, isn't it?
