In call, Trump demands Georgia officials 'find' votes

You may have heard that Trump's own cabinet is talking about using the 25th Amendment. Here is an article on it:

Reports: Cabinet Members In Discussions To Remove Trump As President By Invoking 25th Amendment

What I love about it is the line that one of the writers of the 25th Amendment said that it was to be used for:

The fourth section of the 25th Amendment, which deals with presidential succession, has never been used since the amendment was adopted in 1967. Former U.S. Sen. Birch Bayh (D-Ind.), who was the primary sponsor of the 25th Amendment in the Senate, wrote that Section 4 was designed to be used if the president was “nutty as a fruit cake.”

Almost? Almost? Are you serious? At last the loser Democrats did not promote a riot that attacked the Capitol building.

I happen to like fruitcakes,
& find that very offensive.

Trump didn't promote any riots either. Are you even following the news at all? The Democrats did a lot of riots but especially they behaved like spoiled babies in the politics. Even some Republicans did that too. I remember when Republicans complained about the Obama policy the Republicans were called "traitors" by many Democrat supporters.

I saw for maybe two hours ago that Trump basically steps down and accepts the election results even though it was not very clearly. He should have accepted it faster.

Yes, he did. He hyped up the crowd in DC. He promised to march with them, that was a lie. He kept urging them to "fight" when there was no legal way for them to fight. Trump egged a crowd on and then abandoned them. Even after they invaded the Capitol he did not tell them to leave. What news sources are you watching? Did you watch it live? Do you know that he lied about calling the National Guard. He did not do that. Pence had to arrange for the National Guard.

It is too bad that you have drank so deeply of the Trump Kool-Aid.

And he should have accepted the election over a month ago. There was no doubt then that he lost.

And Pence’s family was in the Capital building too. They all had to be evacuated.

Some insurrectionists were heard shouting “Hang Mike Pence!” and walking through the Capital building saying “Where’s Mike Pence?!”

Trump didn’t even get in touch with Pence to confirm he was safe.

Trump has no one left to betray.

Let’s do a thought experiment. Imagine January 6 without Donald Trump.

How does that day unfold any differently than any previous session of Congress in our lifetimes?

He even flipped on the rioters that he incited. He now says that they should be in jail. After they had invaded the Capitol he told them that he loved them.

People that go to work for him probably understand what they are getting into. But how can he still have followers have he has turned on everyone that is no longer useful to him? I am fairly sure that if he gets banned from politics, and that would happen if he got impeached, that his disdain for his supporters will come out.

That is a really interesting point.

Will he blame his own followers, the people at his rallies, the people who stormed the Capital, for his failure and defeat? Besides himself, he has almost no one else left to blame.

Go bark at the Hoosier. Though I don't know if Birch is still alive. You can at least go bark at his son, Evan.
Or just any Hoosier. Go be Revolting to them! But after the pandemic. They are some nasty wicked anti maskers in those parts.

Yes, he has. According to Trump, a white supremacist march that included a counter protestor being killed by a white supremacist is, to use Trump's words to the world, a group with good people.
He didn't tell militias to stand down. He told them to stand by.
And after the election he complains people aren't fighting for him. He wants people to come support him. His supporters who have a history of running people over, and even opened fire on people over this summer.
And after yesterday's episode he call's them "special" and thanked them, and continued to flame the lie that brought them there, the lie that lead to an attempted insurrection.

He will never blame himself. He is as apt to blame them as he is for Pence who did not cheat for him.

Telling people to protest and storming Capitol Hill are two very different things. It's not illegal to protest. What people did in Capitol Hill was wrong but have you seen the videos where the staff let them enter peacefully. There was no mob in the beginning at least. I saw some live videos on Youtube.

Is there even proof any white supremacist was there? Many of them usually vote for the Democrats or form their own parties. It doesn't fit well with Trump's family as well as politics. Half of his grandchildren are Jewish after all.

Were you as upset last summer when the Democrats burnt down many cities?
