In the bible did God every reveal himself to someone who wasn't seeking him?

I dunno. I figured they just popped in and suddenly there was God.

I kind of pictured Adam first saying how did he get here, and who are you?

He was male so he might have said that but we all know what he was thinking.

I suppose it depends how philosophically deep you want to go with defining "seeking". Because on a base level, on most people in the Bible it doesn't say that they were seeking God, yet God revealed Himself to them or spoke to them via messengers.

Yes there is a whole story of it his name is Jonah - he tried to run from God and well you can guess how it ends or read it yourself - actually its funny even at the end he's whining saying he looks like a false prophet because God did not destroy the city because the people repented.
