It means: God, that is to say, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, i.e. in the name of all three persons of the Trinity.

He was male so he might have said that but we all know what he was thinking.
I suppose it depends how philosophically deep you want to go with defining "seeking". Because on a base level, on most people in the Bible it doesn't say that they were seeking God, yet God revealed Himself to them or spoke to them via messengers.In the bible did God every reveal himself to someone who wasn't seeking him?

Yes there is a whole story of it his name is Jonah - he tried to run from God and well you can guess how it ends or read it yourself - actually its funny even at the end he's whining saying he looks like a false prophet because God did not destroy the city because the people repented.
