There's a mockumentary called "Conspiracy." It's pretty interesting, but most interesting was a comment made by a "doctor" of psychology in the end. Basically, these views can be a slippery slope as the more paranoid you become about such theories, the enthralled you become with them... a vicious cycle so to speak.
As opposed to believing that the world is run by a being who sent his son to die on a cross to save humans?
I don't see much difference between that and the belief in lizards as far as evidence goes; only in terms of how much society is accustomed to one but not the other. Neither belief surprises me (and I'm mainly comparing the two because Christianity is the most popular religion in the U.S.).
Interesting how that works isn't it? Nobody alive today can "prove" George Washington even existed, let alone Christ Jesus, or any spiritual leader. All we have is what we know now. Someone comes up with a notion and we say "Wow, those people are nuts!" For all we know, this could all be a computer simulation, a very persistent lucid dream, or a prison sentence inducing an alternate reality. Leaves much open to possibility and the imagination.
This is just ridiculous. Lizard people ruling the world, bringing drugs, raping women. This is just absurd The lizard people are just like anyone else, coming here looking for work, to feed their lizard families, to make a better life for themselves.

People really don't want to admit that our ancestry is founded by lizard aliens and want to blame "evolution" for having a primitive lizard brain at our core.
