incense is a must have

I'm amazed with what a difference incense can have on a person's spirituality.

Justly watching the smoke rise in the air continuously while reciting the rosary, chaplets, or chanting the Divine Office, puts me sometimes into a nice zen-like trance.

Do you ever feel like watching incense burn, keeps your mind still, brings interior silence, is soothing, mystifying, and a zen-like experience?

My favorite is frankincense and Nag Champa.

Do you have a favorite incense?

I bought about 10 different mystical aromas, some even smell like cherries or strawberries, but next time I buy incense, I'm going to discriminate.

Not all incense is equal :p and one of the "sensual therapy" brands actually puts off a smell that makes me mildly nauseous, ( and maybe offends the Gods. :p)

When I get paid first of next month, I'm going to go to Walmart and spend $30 on incense, and turn my room into a holy of holies :)

I'll just buy frankincense and nag Champa, unless you have a different recommendation?

Thanks!

Is there a brand of incense that you feel pleases the gods more than others?

I highly recommend checking out hand-rolled incense on etsy, or backflow incense for a particularly beautiful show (the smoke falls downward, almost like a waterfall).
My favorite scents are sage and dragon's blood personally.

Wisteria--in the cone incense, not the stick. It's difficult to find, but well worth it.

We use a variety, but Nag Champa is also a favorite. But due to chronic allergies, we just burn it during the offering stage of puja.
