Incompetent Teachers

Per the title: Have you ever had any teachers at any point in your academic career who made mistakes more than rarely, especially ones that are very clear?

I had an English TA last semester who was so incompetent that I just stopped taking him seriously. He couldn't write properly, made some punctuation mistakes, and at one point said "a few informations"--and the main problem was that he sometimes "corrected" students who actually answered correctly and then told them inaccurate answers. That moment when he said "a few informations" was the moment I considered his classes a bigger waste of time than trying to go stargazing at noon. Fortunately, most of my classmates also seemed to realize how useless the classes were, so they stopped attending as well.

What about you? Anything similar, be it the same, worse, or better?

I've been fortunate to have some pretty competent teachers. Usually, I dropped the incompetent ones within a week or so of classes starting.

I once had an algebra teacher, back in my sophomore year of high school, who messed up his lectures almost daily.
He would confuse really basic stuff and always had a "I couldn't care less" demeanor.
There were lots of times where he graded papers incorrectly, especially during the second semester.
Math was a strong point for me in school, so I rarely got answers wrong and even when I did, he wouldn't pay attention then grade my assignment as though I answered everything right.
Convenient, but not helpful for someone who cares about being correct.

There was also an English teacher who got along with everyone, but was mediocre at best as an instructor.
I think it was more because she would have preferred to teach at a pace slower than she was allowed to.
She didn't get through lessons very quickly and it affected test results pretty badly sometimes.

English was my worst subject in school, and still is today, though that isn't really my fault.
She was kind enough to tutor me during lunch at school, so that I could maintain my straight A's.
It was the difference between night and day, the way she taught when she could go slower.
That was my senior year of high school.

Never.
All my instructors were mental giants compared to me.

Never had incompetent teachers, maybe teachers with outdated techniques, but they all at least tried to be good teachers.

Although for some reason every single time I'd get a sub for high school Math class, it would be someone who had absolutely no expertise on that subject. And this never happened in any other subject. Only Math. So you'd ask the sub about some formula only to get a response like
"I have no clue. I studied to be an English/History/PE etc teacher."
More than once I got detention for replying something to the effect of
"Don't worry Miss/Sir, one day you'll become a real teacher."

The closest they got was having the Chemistry teacher sub a Math class. At least she had a passing knowledge of Mathematics.
