I don't know either, there are some sites that are about animals and injuries, but a vet might be the best place you can take it. Thank you for being so kind to animals!
I will ask my cat if she knows how to care for it !
Thanks for looking out for the less loved creatures.
Birds whom are injured have a lot of stress. Wild birds especially. The best thing you can do for it right now is place it in a dark, sheltering place like a cat carrier in a room that doesn't have a lot of light or noise. Let it calm down. It probably won't eat just yet anyway.
I would call the vet and make sure they treat wild birds, some do not. If not they can refer you.
I put out cat food for strays by my door; doves come and eat it too. They can probably eat a lot of different things. Keep doing what you are and nice if you take it to the vet. There are in different places organizations that also handle hurt wildlife.Hi,
I found a injured dove in the park, I think it has a broken wing. I'm going to bring it to the vet tomorrow, but I have no idea how to take care of it. I have tried to feed it but it isn't eating and only drinking a little bit.
Any suggestions?
