Now I'm not trying to cover for President Trump or derail the ongoing dissucsions, just laying out information that indicates that the Russians have been "very busy"
Seems that John Podesta may have violated federal law and seems that he was in-bed with the Russians
EXCLUSIVE: John Podesta May Have Violated Federal Law By Not Disclosing 75,000 Stock Shares
Oops: The New York Times Accidentally Exposed 'The Hillary Clinton-Russia Nexus'!
If there is truth to it, an investigation should be started.

But it's about the wrong conspiracy theory!
If you expected the left to apply the same standards of conspiracy
theory evidence to themselves as to the right, you'll be disappointed.
These links shall be dismissed as "irrelevant", "racist", "misogynist",
"Fox News", "diversionary", "distracting", & finally their favorite battle
cry, "False equivalency!".

You highlight a good point. As I mentioned, if there is evidence of this, it needs to be followed. Party politics should not dictate justice, regardless of who the offender is.

Or as one of our esteemed(?) members thinks.....just a diversion.
I don't think it is a diversion. I would just like to wait and see how it unfolds moving forward.

It's a distraction, like all the other attempts. Good, let them put him under an investigation. But we know they won't, because they'll have egg all over their faces.

Sources esmith, I wouldn't trust the GOP establishment if I were you.

I'd be more interested if you actually provided some reasons why this accusation should be taken seriously. Why should I care? What's the evidence? Are you, yourself, convinced? Why is it just as relevant as the investigation into the actual President, as opposed to an "also-ran"? Do you believe that diversionary tactics aren't being used? Have our intelligence agencies opened an investigation or offered any "high confidence" judgements?

If he broke the law, throw the book at him. But since it is the Daily Caller, and there has been no actual investigation, thus far it is noise.

Haven't several intelligence agencies already declared the evidence incontrovertible?

That said, why the high dudgeon? Don't all governments spy on each other and try to manipulate their politics?
Isn't the US the manipulator-in-chief?

As for election meddling, what's being attributed to the Russkies is as nothing compared to domestic tampering.

You got any other song, that one is getting pretty old and stale?
What I don't understand is that you hate the GOP establishment but get your information from them? I've told you that the establishment controls your favorite entertainers and that's how they get you supporting the republican party.
Why would Tucker Carlson be someone you'd go to for information? Jesse Watters? Rush Limbaugh? Sean Hannity and the gaggle of other brand new 'conservative' websites all repeating the same things?

Trust me, they're intentionally taking advantage of you.

Our current level of political and social discourse is now at the level of two 7 year olds fighting. On the bright side, if we can get down to the level of 2 year olds, at least there will be some honesty.

I unlike some I am able to process information and make my own personal judgment on any information obtained from various sources. This is a analytical processes that those that worked in my occupation used to identify, isolate, and correct problems. We may have gone down a wrong path occasionally (probably numerous times), but eventually realized our mistake and looked at the problem in a different aspect and eventually reached a solution. So, I have no problem listening, studying, and analyzing to reach a solution; unlike some that are unable to see that they might have made an analytical mistake and correct it but are so sure that there original hypothesis has to be the only possibility that they never reach the right answer.

I get all that and I watch conservative media more than anything else. By a long shot. When I see fake stories or propaganda from outlets that gets a downvote from me. It just so happens that your sources have more downvotes than other normal media outlets. By a long shot.

There's a difference between journalism and opinion. Most conservative media is opinion, even Fox is opinion and they admit that. Rush is opinion. He's good at telling his audience what liberals are. "Hate America, Hate the constitution, hate American values, hate christians, hate everything."
That's part of how they keep people voting republican. By scaring you about democrats that you would never EVER consider voting for them.
They take words and give ridiculous meanings behind them. Say the word "liberal" to someone who relies on Rush and they'll explode. Just the word itself has been carefully crafted to mean so many different things. All negative of course. Doesn't matter if it's true or not. The audience believes the performance.

It's all emotional trickery. And of course this isn't widely known, you have to pay attention to everything.

Do you truly believe that Putin and Russia's goal in helping Trump get elected was "Make America Great Again"?
I don't see it myself.
Frankly, I see it as an effective effort to push the USA off the"sole remaining Superpower" hill. Putin kept a seriously formidable opponent from getting the top position in the USA, and it wasn't to help the Trump supporters get their way in the world. It's because he won't.
