Whoops...edited due to stupid. Only the first letter has to be correct. Srot of lkei tihs.

Or, at least I thought it was only the first letter, maybe the last one has to be, too.

Actually, the first time I tried to read it I found it hard work. I stopped tryng, came back to it and 'skimmed' through it (speed reading) - I then found I read every word with ease which proves the Uni's conclusion is right!:)

I wasn't the one who wrote the paragraph. I got it on an email, so i don't know if what it says is true, i just thought ya'll might find it interesting. Saw might be right, but i wouldn't know.

For those of us that could read it without a headache or crossing of the eyes, it is a true test to see how fluent we all are in Typonese.

Its really a psychological theory that we view everything as a whole, and not a bunch of little parts. Which is why you can understand the paragraph even though the parts are flip flopped. I forget whats its called though, I learned it in intro to psych. Thats gonna bother me all night, WHAT WAS IT CALLED!!??!!

That is very cool. I love this sort of thing.

There was an experiment here at the University of Arizona where a student wore goggles that inverted his vision and he wore them all day. The ground appeared above him and the ceiling appeared below him. It took an agonizing two weeks for his brain to compensate and he could then see normally again. When he took the googles off, he had to go through the adjustment all over again!

I've seen this before and I just love it. The first time I read it I didn't even realise anything was wrong until I got to 'Cambridge!' Which just further proves what a horrible editor I'd make. :)
