hello everyone
I am wilieha, born and raised is South Alabama and proud to be a Southerner. I am Pastor of 2 small membership churches, A Lay Pastor, I am married to the same gal for 36 years, we have 3 grown daughters 2 Grandsons who have me as their favorite toy. I enjoy Bible Study and studying Christian history -history in general. I love to fish, do not hunt anymore, am a wood worker and a home refurbisher, prefer to work on older homes, I am an avid gardener and grow nearly all our veggies. I like to cook but not wash dishes. My personal history is "athelete", "hippie", "yippie", "bippie", "redneck", and drunk (sober for 24 years thanks to the Grace of GOD and the fellowship of AA) I am still amazed that GOD saved me and stand in awe of his since of humor at making me a preacher (12 years).
I believe the Bible is our handbook for life and that GOD speaks to each of us through HIS word. Also; HE gave us a brain and expects us to use it. My view on the current state of the church is mixed. I feel the main problem with our Country has its roots in the very poor job the churches have done over the past 50 years; and the refusal of the people to look beyound the surface when studying the bible. I detest church politics and the apostasy it has created.
:)
In HIS service and LOVE
