Iranian Financial Meltdown Beginning

Still, better their civilians than our troops, and I've not seen anyone come up with a better idea.
The better idea is to just let them be their own sovereign nation, and not try to force our own views and policies on them. Their civilians and our troops are all human beings, and none of them should suffer because of the arrogance of a few. But because of this arrogance, people who have nothing to do with the tensions between their government and the rest of the world suffer. And the suffer even more once the troops arrive and the fighting starts. Anti-American/Anti-West sentiments are so easy to stir up in many parts of the world because of such actions.

I don't think he's doing too bad. I think it's pretty clear what he's saying in that post, and his translation has improved.

Then Iran should stop funding proxy wars against the West in other nations and stop forcing their policies on places like Syria. Iran today is the number once sponsor of terrorism in the world and unless there is some sort of pressure from the international community it's not going to change anytime soon. I mean something more than just UN resolutions that "condemn" Iran.

I would say that if anything the sanctions aren't enough. We need the same level of sanctions that the UN is putting on North Korea or the same that they put on Iraq, AT LEAST. If I were an Israeli, I wouldn’t feel particularly safe waving a piece of paper at an incoming Iranian missile.

Is it possible that Iran is doing this in order to defend itself against US proxy wars against it, eg, the 1953 coup , the Iraq war
against Iran, & now the Israeli covert attacks? We have decades of failed policies against Iran, so perhaps a new tack is in order.

It's possible, maybe even true, that the US acted improperly in 1953, but that was 60 years ago, and two wrongs don't make a right. It cannot justify using terrorist groups like Hezbollah and Hamas in 2013.

And truth be told, Actually Iran started the Iran-Iraq war. And continued it after several attempts by Iraq to cease-fire.

This post overlooks US misdeeds in the Iran v Iraq war. For reference....
United States support for Iraq during the Iran
It's interesting that so many believe Iraq didn't have any WMDs, yet the
US supplied chemical & biological material to Iraq for this very purpose.

It started when Iraq attacked Iran
Did the US instigate this too? Perhaps.
Iran is a bad actor, but they have valid reason to be wary of us, since we've
expressed interest in yet another war against them. Will we ever learn?

In the name of Allah, the Glorified
it is clear that you have no information about Iran-Iraq war
it was an imposed war on Iran
with a simple search through the net you will come to truth
you know pal, the problem is that you can never awaken a person who is pretending to be sleeping

You come from Iran. Does Iran have a free press and allow textbooks that are not approved by the government to be taught in schools?

The truth of the matte is that Iran started the Iraq-Iran war by calling for the overthrow of Saddam, telling the Shias of Iraq to rebel, and trying to kill Tariq Aziz. I am no admirer of Saddam Hussein but sometimes the objective eye is needed; Iran is a threat to the safety of the world and has been ever since the Islamic Reaction.

This doesn't rise to the level of "causing the war".
But if so, one could argue that the US set the war in motion by deposing Iran's elected government.

Saddam was a Sunni who was violently repressing the Shia majority of Iraq so of course Iran is going to call for revolution. Ignoring the fact that Iran had just shed its American despot and Iraq at the time still had its American backed despot in power. When is the West going to admit our foreign policy has caused massive instability in an already marginally stable region?

Well in France your forbidden to deny the holocaust publicly as an example and i am not sure what you mean by assassinate people? I think this is going way off topic.

Talking about the Holocaust is perfectly legal in most countries around the world. In fact, learning about the Holocaust was a part of any modern history course, and there are frequently television programs and films made about the Holocaust.

It is denial of the Holocaust that is punishable in certain European countries, as it should be, since . However, nobody is ever assassinated for it, unlike in say Iran where people are killed for apostasy or their sexual identity.

Your point is? I think the Iranians prefer the apostasy law and they are not punished for there sexual identity only sexual behavior these are all internal policies. Lets talk about America's foreign policy or make a new thread..

In Canada, we not only can talk about the Holocaust, we even allow for some dissent from the generally accepted historical record. Likewise, we teach about the Holocaust in our schools. And no, people do not get assassinated for speaking their minds, though we do have "Hate Speech" laws. If people speak their minds, but go too far, targeting a given group, like Muslims, for example, they can and quite rightly will be prosecuted.
