I think the result will be very interesting.

I agree. It'll be interesting to see what effect the last few days has had on Gallagher, how low Mitchells vote is and where McGuinness ends up.
I reckon Higgins will be president and McGuinness will be second.
What about you?

According to an RTE poll, Martin McGuinness stands a chance. I am not sure if that's true but it would be interesting.

I didn't vote, none of the candidates were worth it IMO. It looks like the old codger Higgins is going to win at the moment. :( Dear oh dear, Ireland the laughing stock again. He'll collect 200 grand a year for high end globe-trotting to meet other heads of State in his 70's, though he might not make a full 7-year term.
