Is a House the Same As a Lake?

Colt

It has been suggested that a house is no different than a lake, in that they both are places that they both host life.

With regard to our ecosystem, are there any differences between a house and a lake? If yes, what are those differences?
If the lake identifies as a house, then no.

To add - I do consider domestic spaces divine in their own right and worthy of worship like everything else. I have a pretty good relationship with the House Spirit I've been with for many years. Zhe is still very much an artificed thing - unfortunately made of cheap budget materials and I feel that in zir energy - but there's a reason why polytheists of antiquity routinely honored gods and goddesses of house and home. We can build that into a sacred and respectful relationship too, just as we also mind the house's role in the greater ecological landscape.
