Anyone knowledgeable on bible scripture? If I acknowledge the possibility of Jesus and God and the story of creation/salvation as a valid possibility and claim that if in actuality those stories are true, that that is the side I want to be on (the side of Jesus, righteousness, and salvation,) is that enough to be saved by scripture? If I say "Jesus, if the creationist story is true, then please give me the holy spirit and keep me free of sin, forgive my sins, and lead me to salvation," is that enough to be saved? I'm not going to believe something I can't prove with facts as true, but if it is true then I do want Jesus to save me.
Quoting John 3:18 "Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe has already been condemned, because he has not believed in the name of God's unique Son."
So if I do not necessarily believe, but do not not believe, where do people like me stand?
