I thought my question was a good one, go debate evolution in another thread.
Kilgore, I suppose gravity in this context is a law of the universe we believe to constant. If we throw up an apple on Earth anywhere on Earth it will fall at the same rate, etc...
Is evolution to a point we can place it on the shelf, gravity, and other forces are on. It seems to me we can, but was looking for opinion...
This is what Mike wants....opinions, not necessarily huge debate. As a creationist I often play the 'science is uncertian' line. What usually gets thrown back are examples of how and why science works so well. Now I see those same people come here and highlight all the inconsistencies.
Mike was very clever here and I can see his point. I say Well Done, Just_me_Mike.
Regardless of the inconsistencies in gravitational theory you all speak to, you should all be aware of the problems and debate within evolutionary theory. The quality of the debates is not the same. Now I am not going to reply nor debate any smart replies apart from Mikes, if he's around. That is for other threads..Been there, done that...same replies, same refutes around in circles with research to refute the refutes..and this from within the body of evolutionary theorists. This Mike is not the same level of debate I feel sure, that goes on within the physics community on the common tennants within that field and other sciences. Yes there are places where basics do not apply. However not to the extent that one can find debate and inconsistencies with evolutionary theory. Fossil classification, taxonomic rankings, genetic data that contradicts current hypothesis, convincing research that contradicts other very convincing research are just a few examples.
For these responders to engage in debate that puts other sciences at the level of chance and probablility that evolutionary theory relies on clearly is very interesting to me.
