Are we seeing the death of faith??

Or

Is there still life in this philosophy??

Faith and philosophy are two very different things. One assumes God as the base and impetus. The other assumes humanity as the base and impetus.

My Faith will never die; I can't speak for others. Sure, we see a lot of materialism in the world today, but I believe that there is still a core of people who have faith.

Faith is a prerequisite for belief. :)

(it seems you take an interest in things Joseph Smith has said, have you read his Lectures on Faith?)
Not necessarily, whether one wants, hopes or desires a belief to be True or Untrue, the unproven belief still exists. Give me any example and I will show you it is the belief that must eventually be concluded and not a test of one's faith.

Not yet but if you have a link I would be interested in considering it.

(It seems that you have taken an interest in what I have said, are you familiar with the inspired claims of what GOD has told me concerning the differences between faith, belief and Truth?)

I didn't say a test of one's faith nor do I mean specifically religious faith, but regular faith such as faith that by thinking you may cause your arm to move. I have a suspicion that we are using two different words for the same idea...

No, but I don't mind reading it. I'm always open to new ideas. Is it published somewhere or otherwise available?

I had no idea you recieved revelation from God on the definition of various religious terms.

Faith seems to be intrinsic to human nature. If that's so, then it's not going to die out until human nature changes.

I disagree; I feel it is taught and not essential for each individual. I wonder what behavioral science has to say about faith?

If it was not for the fact that you are a follower of Christ. I would be pointing my finger at you.

You have serious difficulty giving a straight forward answer don't you?

The point of having a form of communication is to communicate, games aren't my thing. If you fancy yourself to be Socrates, you should reconsider.

You don't live up to your namesake do you?

I am sorry for my ill-equipped communication skills I will try harder.

I think many people look down on faith because they see it as mainly/only religious. However that is not the case. You don't need to have a religion or a belief in God to have faith. Because you can still have faith in yourself, faith in your friends and family, faith that your computer won't crap out on you or even faith that there will eventually be another "land before time" movie:p. In this instance faith is trust, trust that can't really be backed up with anything other than personal experience. Thus so long as there is trust, there will be faith.
