Is Gettysburg haunted?

Have you ever been to Gettysburg?

"None however is as ghost infested as Gettysburg. The story goes that when the 20th Maine Division arrived they were guided up Little Round Top by what looked very much like an old-fashioned uniformed man riding a pure white horse. If it hadn’t been for this mysterious man, the Union soldiers wouldn’t have been able to flank the Confederates and in the end win the battle. At the time the men claimed that the glowing man (now nicknamed the Phantom on Horseback) looked quite a bit like George Washington."

Highly advanced technology is indistinguishable from Ghosts......
But you’d have to be able to time travel.

I've heard that they have "ghost tours" at Gettysburg, and there have been all kinds of stories. But they're just the usual ghost stories - usually tall tales with very little in the way of evidence or proof.

I've never heard about the 20th Maine being "guided up" Little Round Top. They were ordered at the far end of the Union line, and it was the Confederates who were charging up Little Round Top trying to outflank the Union, only to met by the staunch resistance of the 20th Maine. It was an ill-fated charge; they would have been better off moving over Big Round Top...or just moving further south in between the Army of the Potomac and Washington.

And even that didn't end the battle. The battle wasn't ended until after Pickett's failed charge on the third day.
