In the bible I felt I there were contradictions and feel like there was more than one god calling the shots. God is loving one moment and angry soon afterwards. Almost as if they were different people.
Maybe they were different people.
Maybe "God" is a title and Yahweh assumed the role of "God" like others have in the past but people think that God is one person when it might have been more than one god assuming the title, which would explain the contradictions and very different rules added in much later.
Maybe other beings, like Allah assumed the role of "God" but people thought it was the same person when it was actually different people. Why would the same person act so loving and then vengeful the next? Perhaps when one deity passed on the torch, the next person to assume the title of God became very different.
I always doubted that God was just one deity when i think it made more sense for it to be multiple people, hence the vastly different rules and contradictions that take place.
