Is God alive?

Hmmmm.....well, when talking about the nature of God, one has to be prepared to think 'outside the box'. We are physical, natural beings that must obey the laws of nature, and too often we try to explain God in ways that fit in with those laws (i.e., is God the offspring of parents...). Unfortunately, it is very difficult to truly explain the nature of God on a human level, because, we are very limited in our thinking. We may think we are pretty smart, but in relation to God, our intelligence is infinitely small. Science, and even logic, can never truly explain God. God is the ultimate Source of everything in existence. He does not need to be proved through science--He is the creator of Science, and therefore above it. He is not limited by Time--He created Time. Just trying to fully comprehend Him blows one's mind apart. We are tiny, finite beings, trying to explain something (Someone, actually) that is infinite.
In the Bible it says that no man has seen God at any time. He refers to Himself as the the great I AM. To me that is very significant. He simply IS. He always has been, and always will be in existence. Of course, there is no way we can comprehend that, so don't even bother trying. We humans try so hard to put God in boxes we can understand, when in reality, He cannot be put in boxes. I truly believe it will take us all of eternity (and He offers this eternity to us), to truly know and understand Him, because He is that deep and vast in every aspect.

Religious people tend to think that God predates the universe and exists outside and separate from the universe.
But what if the universe existed before God. What if the universe gave birth to God?
Perhaps then god would be a living organism.

I believe I am alive. My nature is Spirit but I can inhabit bodies as easily as human spirits can.

I believe then that is is a bogus requirement. It would only be true for a living physical being. Spirits are living without any known physicality.

I believe the gods have offspring because they are not Spirit but are physical beings. By the same token they can be killed which is probably why they no longer are around.

In Islamic theology, God is a transcended being. God is the necessary being and not contingent. There is nothing God.
Okay so if you wish to read scripture you could read the chapter112 in the Qur'an.
