Is God an atheist?

Is God an atheist or does he/she sit around pondering who created him/her and for what purpose?

I guess you're right. God, being all-knowing, does not really have to believe in anything. He and/or she knows and not really believes. Since an atheist is also describe as someone who lacks belief in God or gods then God would be an atheist by definition.

Interesting question. One of which I don't have the answer to. Nor could I even begin to speculate.

I suppose that is possible. Another possibility would be that some super-being independently exist. Knowing all that can be known and able to do all that can be done. How about that god? Would you describe that god as an atheist?

it seems logical that GOD is an athiest since HE would never ever subscribe to the rubbish of all religious scripture / philosophy.HOW CAN 26 LETTERS OF ALPHABET OR ANY COMBINATION EXPRESS TRUTH.LANGUAGE ITSELF IS LIMITED AND IS USED BY MAN TO APPROX REALITY.
TRUTH has nothing whatsoever to do with this as Truth cannot be defined since a definition crystallises something .does the dog,plant,lion etc heretics ,athiests still by not subscribing to a belief not also still exist like the rest of us

Let's see ... I'm always being told by (the worst sort of) Christians that it's supremely arrogant to think that anything as wonderful as Christians -- er, humans -- could have come into being without an Intelligent Designer.

Since God is said to be infinitely more wonderful than humans, I suppose it would be infinitely more arrogant of God to think that anything as wonderful as himself could have come into being without an Intelligent Designer.
