Is God capable of making a mistake? Why or why not?

Is he?

I think he is capable of making mistakes because if he couldn't then I don't think we could either. Since we were made in his image.

I agree, though I tend to think this way because I believe God was created in our image, a fallacious one :D

That which is perfect can not be imperfect.

Assuming that there was just perfect and not "imperfect".

Perfection is just that, a loophole to another void.

Buuutttt, because imperfection exists, that which is perfect is also imperfect.

To the contrary for perfection to dwell apart from imperfection allows for it to remain perfect. The reason why no sin can dwell with God is that perfection and imperfection can not dwell as one.

That's what I said, and by this means, Opposition is evident in all aspects of life.

Simply because we are able to question God's perfection, makes him imperfect.

So then we really weren't created in the image of God then were we?

However if perfection and imperfection both existed side by side then that means that perfection by those that were imperfect would be considered an imperfection and vice versa.

For imperfection to strive to label or understand perfection leads only to confusion and indignation. Thus the state of the world around us. Perfection is beyond the understanding of imperfection and as such perfection dwells elsewhere.

I see how you got that, but I disagree.

Perfection and imperfection both exist, since one could not exist without the other, they both exist in harmony, and are consistant in all things.

#1 NO

#2 because a imagination cannot make mistakes

Unless of course, the imagination imagined something it didn't mean to, but then again, you could never tell could you?

Let's say it's the Christian God though, then I'd say yes, he's made a good handful of mistakes, including himself.

Some imaginations end up being evil and should have never been imagined in the first place. That's why you've got to be careful what you imagine. Not only might your imagination make some mistakes, but even worse... it might do mean things on PURPOSE... O_O Imaginations are dangerous.
