Is God Subversive of the Established Social Order?

It seems love is often subversive of the established social order.

For instance, the social order may discourage or prohibit interracial marriages. Or marriages between people of different religions. Or marriages between people of the same sex.

But love does not seem to recognize such prohibitions. Love doesn't seem to follow the rules that people now and then erect to preserve the social order. Despite the prohibitions, people still fall in love with people of the "wrong" class or caste, with people of the "wrong" race, with people of the "wrong" religion or gender.

Love is subversive.

Now, some people say, "God is love". But if "God is love", then does that mean that god is often subversive of the established social order? Why or why not?
