I know the crown prince died recently, but I haven't seen anything about the king.

Never heard a thing. Now, is this the one who was trying to allow women to drive? The one who recently allowed women schools to play sports?

Oh, don't worry. Saudi is polygamous nation, and the king has plenty of brothers ready to step up. If I recall correctly, all of the possible heirs act as a sort of council in deciding who will be named Crown Prince and, eventually, King.

First, your post reveals an unpleasant attitude from your side toward a whole nation..

Second Saudi is not one nation...

Third, Islam's stance from polygamy is different from the biblical doctrine of polygamy.

I usually don't think very high for these "kings".

But as for allowing women to vote, allowing sports for women, is pretty good. Who ever takes his place, hopefully continues such reforms.

By considering a Tyrant King as a reformer, you are insulting a whole nation...

He wasn't perfect, sure. KSA is still repressive, sure. But saying I am insulting a whole nation because I said his reforms were great is over the line. He can still be condemned for many things. But seeing how powerful the salafi control is in KSA, his reforms of allowing women to work, to vote, play sports, participate in the olympics, are all good things.

Please explain how praising the reforms he completed in spite of the powerful salafi control, is insulting. I am sure the women who benefit from these reforms will say the same thing.

I think you are extremly biased. Maybe you think me praising his reforms is also praising his oppression of Shia. Which I am not, and never said such. Take a breath and realize what I said before you attack me.

I always sort of liked him, so I am glad he is not dead and those who do these kind of rumors should be arrested.

But he is getting to be very advanced in age. So I think it might be time to start collecting momentos. For example I collect paper money. These type of things are valued by those who are history fans and those who lived during the times.

Also if and when he leaves, I would think the Kingdom would release a memorial Gold Coin. I would be interested in buying it from the Saudi government mint, but likely only natiionals would be able tu buy. It would become very valuable over time.
