Is it better to know and understand everything, or to have incomplete understanding and knowledge?

Does 'knowledge' always mean intellectual? There are different types of knowledge and these have not been specified by the OP. So too much knowledge many not be the enemy, if you are refering to realised knowledge (knowing comes from knowledge, btw).
Madhuri,
I'm referring to the knowledge that is sought, to find the mystics of life. The mystics of life cannot be found with knowledge, for the simple reason - that they have answers to every question; Knowledge DEMYSTIFIES existence, this is the point I'm trying to make. So pertaining to the OP...NO, all the knowledge that we have accrued. and everything that we think we know - has to be discovered and realized.
