I get a bit offended when people use magic, I think its trying to exploit the power of the gods.
Am I the only guy who thinks of witchcraft and magic like this?

No, I admit that heka (Kemetic word for magic) is trying to exploit the gods. It also makes me feel guilty sometimes. However, sometimes we can't help but use heka to interact with the deities. Right now is the time of Beautiful Reunion for we Kemetics, the re-uniting and re-marriage of Hethert and Heru-Wer. The prayers and invocations we do in their honor are heka. So sometimes heka is actually a part of worship, but using it for selfish reasons, yes that's exploiting. I never use heka hardly outside of praying, because even praying is magic, believe it or not.

Same here, personally I fid that most people though have a vary Limited understanding and/or view of Magic.
For me, when I 'use' Magic, I'm not calling on or tapping into any godlike power source.

There are many definitions for magic, but it seems that most of them are done anyway even by those who decry magic.

Same here. Magick is just a tool, it's there whether I use it or not. I don't think it belongs to anyone, mortal, immortal or otherwise.
