or maybe I am just upset with the fluffy bunnies. No, I admit that heka (Kemetic word for magic) is trying to exploit the gods. It also makes me feel guilty sometimes. However, sometimes we can't help but use heka to interact with the deities. Right now is the time of Beautiful Reunion for we Kemetics, the re-uniting and re-marriage of Hethert and Heru-Wer. The prayers and invocations we do in their honor are heka. So sometimes heka is actually a part of worship, but using it for selfish reasons, yes that's exploiting. I never use heka hardly outside of praying, because even praying is magic, believe it or not.
I see magic every day, so it's hard to take offense at something so natural.I get a bit offended when people use magic, I think its trying to exploit the power of the gods.
Am I the only guy who thinks of witchcraft and magic like this?
Same here, personally I fid that most people though have a vary Limited understanding and/or view of Magic.I disagree... but I have rather unique views anyway.
I know right, some times it's just not worth casting some spell ^_^It ****** me off when magic spells aren't mana efficient.

For me, when I 'use' Magic, I'm not calling on or tapping into any godlike power source.
