Is it Possible to Change the Future? Here is the Scenario:

A remote viewer is asked by police where a criminal will be a 9pm on a particular evening, the remote viewer says he will be in a particular restaurant eating dinner.

The police show up at the restaurant at 8:30pm and hide while they wait for him.
The criminal shows up and they arrest him, at 9pm the criminal is now in jail.
What happened?

Was the remote viewer right or wrong?

What? Me worry?
Are you assuming there was no future before the viewer saw the criminal? To be true the remote viewer would have to had seen himself viewing the location of the miscreant before he was asked.

One of the police were criminals and hiding in a police suit.

Sike, the remote viewer knew a criminal and told him to go to that particular restaurant at the time. Tricked him by saying lets eat dinner, the guy was waiting and then got arrested.

i am assuming that the future for the criminal prior to the police arresting him would have been dinner.
Not sure why it would be necessary for the viewer to see himself.

The point is that because of the information given to the police the future was changed in some way.
The criminal was seen eating dinner but he never got the chance to eat dinner because of his arrest.

What this means is that the viewer was actually wrong in the end about what the future would be because the information given was used to change it.

how is a prediction of the future being wrong changing the future?

It is just a way to make people look better, it is false.

Maybe the viewer, was a cheap, and the guy failed.

If it was real, who knows it was God then.

You can change yourself. That can only happen if you have the ability to be corrected. Now what happens in your future can be a reflection of a correction you made to your self be it good or bad it could even effect your ancestry be it good or bad. That is how the future is controlled made by choices and being allowing your self to be corrected. I personally like the sacrifice to others approach to correction cause it tends to fall on thinking of the effects of your actions will effect others.

It is not a religion but a topic of many religions.
What religions? And how is your scenario in the OP related to religion?

As for your OP question, "Was the remote viewer right or wrong?" of course he was wrong. At 9:00 pm he wasn't in the restaurant, as he saw him, but in jail.

The point is that because of the information given to the police the future was changed in some way.
No change in the future at all. The future was always to include the fact that the criminal would be arrested before 9pm and be in jail at that time. It was also to include the erroneous perception of the viewer that the criminal would be in the restaurant at 9pm.

What this means is that the viewer was actually wrong in the end about what the future would be because the information given was used to change it.
But no change ever took place. As I said, the future included the fact that the viewer would misperceive the 9pm circumstance in the restaurant. That it happened to turn out well for the police is irrelevant.
