I consider that no government does a good job , all religion is quite false and we are all selfish when it comes to survival . We quite clearly don't really care about the needy etc and are all quite horrible people .
I don't think we deserve to live and call ourselves the superior species .

Let me guess, you are white person who lives in Western society?
If so you have everything that other generations and even other
societies don't have - science fiction style medicine; advanced
education; universal suffrage; extended lifespans; peace and
security; support for the poor; a scale of entertainment never
seen before; wealth and so on. Not even monarchs lived like
this generations ago.
And what has it produced in its recipients, the one percentiles
of the world? Nothing but nihilism and narcissism.

There are beautiful people out there; for example, the Trump family. Rather than looking at Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi, you should look the other way towards the beautiful people like the Trump family or many of the MAGA hat wearing Trump supporters in order to give you hope for the human race.

I wouldn't look there to restore faith , I'd be looking for the Marines to aid the Mexico army to bring order to hell . Most of the people want to leave Mexico so they will welcome the military intervention has hero's .

You are clearly living with blinders on. If you'd take the time to look you'd see numerous people performing selfless acts and caring for the needy on a daily basis. As for being a superior species we are superior in some ways and greatly inferior in others.
