It starts from Brahmn, then always transmigrates from one form to another till it finally merges back into Brahman.How can jiva (the subtle/causal body) be eternal or beginingless, when jivahood is temporary. Once moksha is attained, jivahood or the inner sheaths, ceases to exist ... If it can have an end, then it too must have an origin or beginning, right?
Advaita (of my kinmd) never considers it separated. Was Brahman, is Brahman, and will always remain Brahman. No change whatsoever.
