lol, no its not
No?

Example one: I only know purple flowers and all purple flowers seem nice to me. One day I see a yellow one and get stung from a bee on it. Now all yellow flowers are bad.

Example two: I only know white people all white people seem nice to me. One day I see a blackman and he robs me. Now all blackmen are bad.

In both examples the same root causes both results. Likewise both are wrong for the same reason.

I'm pretty open to many genres of music but yeah I have to say I also hate death metal.

Just isn't appealing to me emotionally or musically.

I don't understand how a genre where every single "artist" sounds exactly the same and who all "rap" about the exact same pretentious and shallow materialistic and misogynistic drivel can appeal to anyone. Not to mention the deliberate butchering of the language.
That is how I feel about it, and hip hop. Personally, I don't see how alot of can appeal to women especially as derogative and demeaning as it is towards women.
As for them sounding the same, that is why I don't like most modern rock bands. They either all sound alike, or are trying too hard to be like Aerosmith.

i cant stand Death Metal either, *** **** dirty *** Norwegians!
Norwegians, Polish, Swedish, Finish, I love 'em all. Death and Black metal are my favorite genres.

anyone mentioned trip hop?

I used to live near Bristol, England...
home of tricky, asian dub foundation, massive attack, portishead, goldfrapp (wallace and gromit)

etc...

This is the death penalty, and I'm servin' a
Death wish, so come on, step to this
Hysterical idea for a lyrical professionist
Friday the thirteenth, walking down Elm Street
You come in my realm ya get beat
This is off limits, so your visions are blurry
All ya see is the meters at a volume
Pumping lyrics of fury...

Saying that all rap music is the same mindless dribble means that you are completely unaware of the "whole" of rap music, and generally, you don't care to know.

The problem with popular rap, is that rappers are paid to sound like bigots, women abusers, coke dealers, cop killers, when none of it is actually true, THEN is marketed towards kids. See.. this is how capitalism destroys art. When your goal isn't to make money (or popularity for the sake of money), then your artistic expression would have been self-driven, an actual sacrifice of human time, in which you would use it the most wisely. If your goal is making money, then you will make the least-personal, most relatable and marketable thing you can for the sake of accumulation. It's not black and white, there is gray area in between.

There are more rappers who rap about poverty, war, politics then there are who rap about pimping, guns, what have you... they just are paid and advertised.

However cool is defined in culture will be the reality for anyone who falls under it's hypnotic spell.

Anyone remember humpty?

Heh, even those this goes against everything I've been saying...

"Humpty D.Dawg sat on the wall, Humpty D.Dawg made all the ******* sprawl.
All the king's horses and all the kings men, couldn't Humpty from committing his sin."
