Is Rush Limbaugh a Christian?

And they don't make any sense now do they?

Doesn't really matter if it makes sense. More so, there is no reason for homosexuals not to be able to agree with the majority of what Republicans say. It's fine if they disagree to a point.

Being a republican, or really anything, doesn't mean one has to follow all of the ideas presented in that ideaology.

Why are they insane? Because you don't understand them?

Just because one may be homosexual, doesn't mean that they can't be Republican. And if they decide to be Republican, it doesn't mean they have to support everything the Republican party is doing. A great example of this is the Log Cabin Republicans. They are loyal Republicans. However, they don't accept the idea of opposing homosexuals. And in fact, many Republicans don't.

The thing is, one can affirm the majority of beliefs of a group, yet still debate other beliefs of that group. We see it all of the time. Maybe these individuals feel that Republicans, on the vast majority of issues, are right. Why shouldn't they be able to be Republican then? And why would that mean they couldn't fight against some of the Republican ideas they don't like?

Republicans are not a completely united front. There are many disagreements. And really, you see this in any belief form. There are many disagreements, and there are internal debates. There is nothing wrong with that though.

So why shouldn't Rush be able to share some of the ideas of Rand, yet reject others and still be a Christian? There is nothing stopping him. And there should be nothing stopping him.

Because the teaching of Ayn Rand are the complete antithesis of the teachings of Christ. No sane person could believe both are right.

You know what Jesus taught about God and Mammon.

who says everything in life is supposed to makes sense?

in light of fighting for equality, we had an overwhelming number of people in the black community voting for prop 8 in california...does that make sense?

They are not insane and I find your insults to be rather offensive. The world doesn't define itself according to your narrow version of logic. If you're going to label everything in the world that doesn't meet your standards as insane, well you're going to live in an insane world.

(By the way, there are Jewish Nazis. Israel jails eight Jewish neo-Nazis | Reuters )

The existence of Jewish Nazis, Gay Republicans and Christian Randroids is indicative that some of the world is indeed insane. It is not an insult.

Or even more, free blacks owning slaves. That makes even less sense, but it happened.

As a side note, it makes sense if we don't use such rigid definitions.

Jewish Nazis, gay Republicans, and others; do these ideas make sense? No, but life doesn't make sense. To simply dismiss them because they don't fit a particular world view is dishonest. So it should come as no surprise that there are people who call themselves Christian and follow Ayn Rand. Christianity runs the gamut of various ideas. There are Christian Wiccans. There are atheist Christians. People have combined Christianity with all sorts of other ideas, ideas that the particular individual has found to be in accord with what they think and believe.

Rush Limbaugh is a professing Christian, but if a God inspired the Bible, is his position that Rush Limbaugh is a Christian, and will have eternal life? I do not think so.

That's between Mr. Limbaugh and The Lord. He appears to be a bit biased, a little bit racist, rather judgmental, but whether he is a Christian or not, I can't say. :cover::cover::sarcastic
