Its the purple haired ones that are speedy. Gotta watch out for them.
Doubt it when i went premium the loading of pages was much faster, with none of the jumping about. Seems like the ad code is dynamic, writen as the page is served and not written at all for premium members.
I may be wrong but that's how it appears

Well yea. The site still has ads. It's not like blocking removes them out of the site itself.
Yes has been very, very slow for a few days, to the extent you have to leave.

VERY SLOW. We went through something like this maybe 12-18 months ago for a software update.

Very strong language
Intermittent. Over the last week it's been deadly slow a lot. Got the "Timed Out" screen several times saying the Host is not working.
Slower in the last few days as well as one short period that it couldn’t be loaded

Unlike my previous postings it's gotten so bad now it's taking literally minutes rather than seconds for me to write out the post and press the post reply button.
In fact , it takes me literally minutes at times to even load in a thread to even begin to read it. This issue isn't present in other forums that I participate in.
Just gotten to the point now , at the time of this posting, where I'm considering leaving the forum until the issues are addressed, or I'll just go and look elsewhere in the internet to post where it's much faster and not so bogged down with these issues that are making the forum evermore unusable, frustrating and all but inaccessible.
I'm of the opinion if this incredibly persistent lag isn't addressed, this forum will eventually die out because of its inaccessibility as people quit posting here because of it.

Same here. And in it's present form, I find this site to be just about completely unusable and almost inaccessible.
No point in staying here anymore because of it. It's just too much of a mess here with no improvements at all that I can note that would prompt me to stick around.
Even when you press new posts, the avatars aren't even loaded in on people anymore.
That signals its so bad now that it's time to go until it's fixed, or when the forum just shuts down forever.
I still blame the ads as the primary cause and will eventually be the death of RF. I hope I'm wrong, but it's almost to that point where I think it's going to happen if nothing is done about it. Whatever is causing the problems here.
