Is the Jesus in the Quran the same in the Bible?

Jesus in the Quran:

Same Jesus, but the source of Mohammad(pbuh)'s stories about Jesus isn't only the four Gospels of the Bible but includes other "lost" or Apocryphal gospels not included in the Bible, that's why some of the stories are different from what Christians hear. The Gospel of Barnabas seems to be one of the sources, it is available today.

Jesus was a person from God mentioned in Bible and Quran.
Quran is unique in making explicit claim of having divine protection.

But I was taught Muslims do not believe Jesus was crucified, as recorded in the Gospel of Barnabas.

1-Ahmadiyya-Muslim (as I referred in beginning in above, highlighted in edit) believe from Quran, Bible, Old Medical and Historical record that Jesus was placed on cross, survived and migrated to Kashmir, did his work, died at 120 years of age and his tomb is present in Srinagar.
Al Islam - Jesus in India

His second coming means metaphor for other person as coming of Elijah was John the Baptist.
For Ahmadiyya Muslims this metaphoric second coming has been fulfilled (now his Khilafat continues his peaceful work) as

For Ahmadiyya Muslims, second metaphoric coming of Jesus and Imam Mahdi are same, according to Hadith......These are titles pointing to qualities of the same man; Word Jesus (a.s.) shows no-war and correction of Christians, word Mahdi shows directly guided by God and blessings of his Master Muhammad (pbuh).


2-Other Muslims (not all) believe Jesus was taken from cross to heaven and someone else was placed instead of him. They consider he will physically come in latter days and with Imam Mahdi he will counter anti-Christ.

Sort of history repeating.

I believe all of those crucifixion fantasies are contrary to the Bible and therefore in error.

I believe the second coming is not metaphoric but He will physically return just as He ledt.

Definitely not. The only similarities are that Jesus is the Messiah, was born of Mary by way of a Virgin Birth, performed miracles and will return. Other than that, they're very different figures.

Is one of the apocryphal gospels
2. Christ in the Holy differs from Christ we know
3. The story of Christ's birth in the false Koran
4. novel crucifixion of Christ in the false Koran
5. declare war on the followers of Christ proves that the Koran does not recognize in Christ we know
6. Yes, there are movable in the Holy Gospel
But all those verses replicated in other verses from the Koran
That is why Christ in the Koran does not believe the lies which Mohammed in the Koran

The tory of Jesus is different to us all, not just the Muslims, each one of us have our own story of what he was, and what he wasn't, and that's basically what its all about.

GoB is a known forgery.

One of the unknown minor traditions of Christianity not depicted in the Bible is the birth of Jesus in the Quran. It is found at the Church of the Kathisma of the Theotokos

You can find information about the site and it's links to early Islam as an influence prior to prophethood below. the site was only found in the late 90s and academics is slow to release information to the masses. Easily overlooked by many.
