Is The Lion King Possibly The Best Film Ever?

It was okay, but not the best... I like Aladin, The Little Mermaid, and Beauty and the Beast more. And also some non-disney films. :D

When I was little Beauty and the Beast was my very favourite. I had a Belle doll, and lots of little shirts and nightgowns with Belle... I loved that movie...

I'm with you, it's not my favorite of the Disney films, but still pretty darn good. It seems to be based on "Hamlet" which makes for good source material!

It would have been better had any of the lions ate some penguin.

Lion King is definitely one of Disney's best films, but I think a lot of movies are better: Lord of the Rings, Fantasia, Finding Nemo... But there's no doubt that the Lion King was one of Disney's best musical movies.

My kids don't like it either.

Weird to me that people like it so much.
Elton John should never be allowed to write "film music" again,
because it wasn't.
And as for the story, and the characters...
well I'll just stop now. :D
