Is there a God, or  ?
I don't believe in God because I have absolutely no reason to believe that there is one. Just like I have no reason to believe Zeus or the other hundreds of man made gods and religions.
Absence of a belief isn't a belief.
I do not assert the existence of an omnimax God. Here is a partial list of other things whose existence I do not assert:Is there a God, or  ?
If  how do you know there's a God?
if  how do you know there's no God?
I guess it all comes down to faith .
What gives you your faith? :help:

If god does exist, it is in the form of an idea, rather than an actual entity.

Do you think it takes faith not to assert the existence of these things?
- Giant, flying spaghetti monsters
- Unicorns
- Invisible martian IRS agents
- Pixies
- Leprechauns
- Magical, carpenter turtles
The question is meaningless without a coherent and consistent definition of what "god" is. I've yet to hear one.
Absence of belief is a belief? You also have absolutely no reason to believe that there is anything else in existence other than yourself when you set the threshold for evidence high enough. Absence of belief is a belief because you have substituted that former belief with something else.
Some very sharp minds might consider that ignorance is preferable to error. or, put another way, the acception of one's ignorance is better than a well believed lie.Why is there anything? And if you "choose" to not have an opinion on this question, then you believe ignorance is preferable to having "weak" beliefs.

No, it sounds rash either way. I can imagine supposing that absolute knowledge of such things is possible; and in that senerio, your claim is still very very rash... and very meaningless, considering the circumstances. In general, the claim from those who confess their agnosticism is not that it is impossible, but rather that there is no legitimate reason to believe it as possible. One cannot prove something to be impossible, that should be obvious to most everyone. Clearly the fallacy with your assumption is that you assume that our position is as clearly unfounded as yours. Should you want to argue that invisible pink unicorns are impossible, or that flying spaghetti monsters are impossible? Ofcourse not, but that does not give me free will to fallaciously assert any form of Anti-Agnosticism on that matter. A person can warrantedly say "I personally don't know whether [insert outlandish and paradoxical claim here] exists, although its possible that others know..." but the sentence should not end there. NO, that would be unscholarly. the sentence should continue with "...and well, they better get to proving (making acceptable) it." But being as it is very much self-evident that nothing can be proven or known with 100% certainty, i would still be Agnostic. And based on that same point, it would be safe to assume that all others are agnostic aswell untill they convince me otherwise. If those that claim to deal in and have knowledge of a subject can hardly agree on some of its basic concepts, it is safe to assume they are simply making wild guesses and unfounded accusations. They are infact agnostic, and were born agnostic, but cannot bring themselfs to confess it.I know that god exists. That may sound rash, but only if one presupposes that knowledge of such things is impossible. But why should it be impossible? Such an argument cannot be sustained. At best, a person can warrantedly say "I personally don't know whether god exists, although it's possible others know" but not "It is impossible (for anyone) to know" or "I know that there is no god."
In that case, we can't ask questions about nearly anything.
What compels you to believe that gods exist?::Sigh:: I see we're beating this dead horse again. Someone get that dead horse and throw it in the creek already. Yes gods exist, no they don't need you to believe in them.
This is the MODERN WORLD. WAKE UP!!!
