Is there a Nazi problem in the Ukraine?

The only "Nazi problem" for Putin is that he cannot seem to find significant numbers of them Every country is going to have its radicals. A poorer country or one with a huge wealth disparity will tend to have more than a well off country with a small wealth disparity. Ukraine is not the wealthiest of countries and there is a bit of disparity so of course there are going to be some that hate others and try to blame them for the woes of the country. I think that the story appears to be making this more a threat than it ever was.
It seems that radical nationalists used to be fairly influential in Ukrainian politics - notably, the Maidan Revolution included street battles between police and Neonazis. But curiously, support for Neonazi parties in actual elections seems to have almost completely evaporated since 2014.

Pakistan is a democracy an Venezuela is not. So, if it suits US and West, then it is a democracy, otherwise not. Thanks for your help.

Pakistan is democracy, and your President is/was a fine cricketer. :)

any more than is would have the rusdsans in mexico.

Ya, that's the Cuban Missile Crisis reversed. Only, no nukes were installed in Ukraine like Russia did in Cuba.

Well actually the Russian ships carrying missiles turned back from Cuba, rather than risk war with America. Because it became clear that the USA was willing to go to war to defend not it’s own territory, but it’s own sphere of influence.

Wrong. There were MORE missiles coming. Our spy planes photographed missiles in Cuba.
Those were removed. I lived thru it. I know.

I agree that the Pakistan Prime Minister (not the President) was a nice cricketer, and handsome person and has lead an eventful life, but he depends on Pakistani Army for his survival in politics. He is not my Prime Minister. I am an Indian, and my Prime Minister is Narendra Modi.

He was a good cricketer, and it would be nice to believe that good cricketers would make good leaders on the world stage. But I suppose life isn't like that; it's just not cricket, as we occasionally say in England.

I wonder if Shane Warne would have made a good Prime Minister of Australia?

Given how much money and support the Putin regime has poured into European nationalist xenophobic parties like UKIP, VB, RN and AfD, let alone outright Neonazis like Jobbik or Golden Dawn, I think any Russian involvement would be more likely to make any country's Nazi problem ten times worse rather than better.
This.

Strongly agree. Putin has been on a campaign to stir up the far right around the globe for years now. And just look at the the rafts of far right politicians who admire Putin: Trump, Farage, Salvini, Le Pen, Zemmour......the list goes on and on. And farther afield we have Modi of course, to some extent Erdogan, Bolsonaro............

This risible claim of "denazifying" a democratically elected Ukraine government - led by a Jew - is just another element of the black-is-white (and I'm a teapot:confused:) Big Lie approach that has characterised Putin's statements throughout.

.....who is a ghastly Hindu nationalist, undermining Indian democracy and stirring up persecution of religious minorities. Not surprising that he is slow to condemn Putin's atrocities.

I am sorry for that slip in my memory.

People say, and I agree, that he was one of the best suited persons to lead Australian cricket in his time - "The best cricket captain that Australia did not have".
In the first Indian Premier Leauge, He lead the Rajasthan Royals to victory with a very mediocre team. Very inspiring. Indians loved him and his antics. Indians have also loved Shane Watson, David Warner and Brett Lee.

Aup.: Like many others, you misunderstand Modi. The minorities in India are happy. Only the Muslim clerics and Evangelist Christians are not. Indian democracy is holding on well. Modi's party does not rule over the whole of India. Many states have opposition governments.

We are slow in condemning Putin because of our geo-political compulsions. Russia has provided for Indian defense needs for the last 50 years. US either does not provide them or they are much costlier. It is not that we buy only from Russia. We buy from France, Italy and Israel too. And we have two belligerent countries on our border, China and Pakistan. Even US administration understands that well. If there was any other government at the center, it would also have dithered in condemning Putin.

Orange: BJP (Modi), Light Orange: Coalition with BJP, Other colors (Green or Maroon): Opposition.
