Is there only one pacifist religion?

For me a number of religions or sects seem pacifist.

Like Falungong, quakers, jehovahs witnesses. Then there are followers of Ghandi, an unknown number of pacifist Buddhist sects, seventh day Adventists.

So are more than one of the above sects or any not mentioned above pacifist?

Is it honest to claim that only one sect is pacifist?

Is it correct in your opinion to say pacifism is the solution to war?

You might want to also investigate the Maori prophet / reformer Te Whiti o Rongomai. His pacifism inspired Gandhi.

Dadi Ratanmohini ( female administrative head of the Prajapita Brahma Kumaris) stated that if everyone remembers that we are all children of the same Supreme God and hence brothers and sisters, then peace would be a natural consequence.

The Brahmakumaris consider the instinct for war coming from the vice of hatred, which in turn arises from intense desires in the form of aversion to the other.

It is such intense desires in the form of cravings and aversions for pleasure and pain respectively, that manifests as the vices of lust, hatred, greed, inordinate attachments, egoism and which leads to all crimes. Thus such intense desires robs one of peace internally and externally.

The true war which every human being has to battle is the inner war in the mind against such intense desires, through understanding the nature of the mind, meditation and virtuous conduct.

The United Nations have also stated that peace begins in the heart of human beings.

'It is conflict, hatred and selfishness embedded in the hearts of human beings that is still causing new conflicts around the globe. Conflict and division within the person is the starting point. Conflict starts in the hearts of human beings. Peace must start there as well.'

Pacifism is my religion. The nature of our universe is passive, that might scare some, but happiness and love are only possible in a passive world. In fact, if it weren't for pacifism nature would not be real, and all religion would be thrust into sadistication. "Only a Sith deal's in absolutes, I will do what I must." - Obi Won Kenobi. That quote is s warning of absolute violence in which no one can survive.

No, they ended because people wanted peace and wanted to stop fighting and signed peace deal.
Funny how the germans and Japanese didn't want to stop fighting and sign a peace deal before the acts of war i mentioned isn't it?!

The solution to all war is comprised of the solution to individual wars, there is not a one size fits all approach that can practically be taken.
What's the solution to individual war? War? How is that a solution?
That creates more war, not ends it.

It did not create more war in the case of Germany and Japan, you are ignoring obvious cases which don't fit your religious agenda.

Oh boy. There goes that song in my head again. Religious agenda. Religious agenda. :(
Do you mind if I apply your words to you? It was a war. It did not create a war then, but that's besides the point. How about the wars that are started and do not end anything. Just because an army is defeated that doesn't mean war has ended.

How is that?
Not even Alexander the Great would have declared he ended war when he crushed enemy after enemy.

And what religious agenda would that be?

So you are alleging that I have a Jehovah's witness' religious agenda? How does that make sense?
It makes no sense at all. So why you made up such a senseless story, is evidence of an additional agenda. Adding JW to religious agenda, and claiming I alleged it, is also slanderous.
So evidently, to continue drawing the noose you put around your neck, eventually won't end well for you.
Best to quit now you have the chance.

I didn't make a statement I posed it as a question for clarification since you said, "the one you accuse me of" and in context, I was accusing you of following a JW religious agenda.

Right back at you

Well I can't read minds. I can only respond to what you wrote. So I responded to what you wrote. Not what's in your mind. Next time, make sure to write it down. :)
