The 'crackpot of the highest order' on Joy of Satan would be one Maxine Dietrich (Andrea Herrington), who is married to an Arkansas (or Oklahoma, I forget which) officer of the National Socialist party, which is strange considering she's of mixed race.

In my time I have encountered some very misguided "crackpots" such as the leaders of the "Church of Lucifer" (just a bunch of pot heads), and the so-called "Order of Shaitan" who's leader was completely inane in his "philosophy", personality and substance of being. Though I may disagree with Diane Vera on quite a few fronts concerning the LHP, she does seem to be, however, genuine, interesting and a unique person with her own individual take on theistic Satanism.

Theistic Satanism is not the same as reverse Xianity. I believe in Satan as an actual being but I see the bible as lies and distortion. I love satan more than anything on earth and I worship him. But I do not submit to satan. I choose to worship, unlike most followers of other religions.
