Is There Such A Thing As Too Much Or Too Little Sex?

I think maybe you could get "too much of a good thing".

But I get the idea that it's more females that say too much sex can hurt. I certainly haven't had that experience, but my ex used to say she got sore after too much sex. Guys? Any sore bits after too much sex?

As for too little sex, I don't know.

According to my spiritual beliefs, when you reach enlightenment you no longer see sex as a requirement, or... something. Like a child casts away it's toys when it grows older.

I think most men would say that you could never have too much of a good thing. Most women go for quality not quantity!

Sex is definitely healthy; it releases those "happy chemicals" in your brain, relieves stress, can even help headaches and such....I think I even heard that twenty minutes of morning sex was the equivalent of an hour in the gym! (woohoo!!!)
So, I think that there can be such a thing as too little.
But...it also hurts a lot if there's too much. For guys AND girls....it just tends to take guys longer to get to that point lol

Random facts:
You know that after-sex "glow" people talk about? Well, sex does actually cause more blood to flow into the capillaries of your face and can make you look like you're "glowing" a little. Your blink rate goes up after sex, as well.:p

Yay sex:D

Depends what kind of sex you're having I suppose... Sometimes I feel like I've run a marathon LOL

Twenty minutes = three hours? I've always heard one hour, but trying for three would at least make it interesting ;)
Hahaha
Oh, how I miss those days...

From my experience with guys, sometimes their bits (hehe) get really sensitive after having a lot of sex, so that it would hurt to be touched firmly. But, it goes away after less than an hour.

Yes, and if you dont rest and let things go back to normal before having another go-again, you may end up with "rug burns" which really suck, you need to be careful and make sure there is the least amount of friction you can.

Yes, there is such a thing as too little sex. I think it has been 3 or 4 days for me and wifey, been a very busy week, and I get cranky when I don't get my medicine. And until you are causing physical harm such as friction burns, then no, there isn't too much sex.

14 hours is even better.;)

I have found that having an erection for several hours can cause a slight amount of discomfort, similiar to a muscle that has been thoroughly worked. But other than that, I've only known a few women who complain of being too sore for anymore.

I'm celibate myself, so I ask some who've replied here to think about living life without sex @ all, for a moment. I know this would not be possible for Sunstone :D but perhaps others can imgaine. I don't find it difficult @ all, but many men I speak with quite naturally think I'm crazy and/or immature, though neither is the case.

So no, for me there is nether too little or too much, generally. We are all destined for different things, wishing and wanting the who-we-are to be something other than what it is brings only heartache and suffering.

Ben Franklin once recommended that a person neither over-indulge nor under-indulge in sex, but rather seek moderation. He believed that too much sex or too little sex was not good for a person's health. Do you agree or disagree with Franklin? Why?

Ben Franklin didn't meet my girlfriend. There is no such thing as too much.

Well, men do have a natural stronger sex drive than women. Myself, being a 21 year old male, a sexless life doesn't really sound appealing.

Well, I'm more or less boycotting relationships at the moment and am therefore celibate (all of the guys around here keep turning into creepers on me and I refuse to deal with it at least until midterms are over). It's not totally unbearable, but I don't exactly enjoy it, either. All that tension builds up after a while:rolleyes:
