Is topless female sunbathing inappropriate?

The question is prompted by an article describing why a woman was charged with "sensuously rubbing in sun cream," which “troubled [a woman's] sons aged 14 and 12.”

So, aside from the protecting-oneself-with-sun-screen issue, Is topless female sunbathing inappropriate?

Done here.
One expects this kind of idiocy in the U.S. I thought Europeans were supposed to be more sophisticated.

I can't imagine that "troubled" is quite the word for the boys in question. I imagine that given the opportunity, they'd have been have happy to help the young lady apply her sunscreen.

Not only that, but if those boys had grown up seeing such sights all their lives, I'd bet they would not have been "troubled" by it at that point.

Uhhhhh, is there really any way to apply lotion to women's breasts other than 'sensuously'? I mean, even if one clumsily slabs the stuff on, it still tends to be a pretty sensual act, or at least I've always thought so.

I guess my point is this, I just don't believe it is possible for a 26-year-old topless sunbather to spread on lotion without raising the attention of teenage boys. I am certain it would have gotten my attention.

Yes, I would be troubled too if I was 14 and unable to look at a pair of breasts every now and then.

Revolting ode to some poor victimized lads

A mother concerned for her sons
said Luisa should cover her guns
The row was so lame.
The actual shame
was that she had covered her buns.

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.
Speaking as a former 12 to 14 year old myself.....I will go on record to say that I completely and wholeheartedly support Topless female sunbathers and their right to apply lotion. :D
