I agree with whoever..I think that "if" I want to go topless its just boobs..HELLO ..Its not a penis or a vagina..and FURTHERMORE since its NOT "gentailia" or "unsanitory why should I have to cover up? My neck gets hot too in a shirt...Its just boobs..

Maybe if they were uncovered more ..12 and 14 year olds wouldnt be getting woodies at the sight of them...

Boobs should be a "common sight".NOT taboo..Anymore than a mans nipples..

My boob was hanging out last night..(it flopped out of my gown and I didnt realize it)..Oh my God the TRAUMA!!! NOT!...If everyone could stop thinking a BODY part such as a "boob" is so threatening as if the boob has a life of its own and will molest people or whatever we would be better off..

We would probably get sick of boobs..Like we wouldnt be "shocked" over a boob...

I think that there's a time and place for this sort of thing. If you're on a beach - abundant with families and children of various ages - no one needs to see your breasts. Though many won't think twice about it - some aren't going to feel comfortable by it.

I'd be outraged if some chick ran around topless around my kids - let alone drew attention to her large breasts during the sunscreen application process.

It's kind of stupid in my opinion. Go to a secluded area of the the beach to do your topless sunbathing or go to a flippin' tanning bed.

You can tastefully undo the back of your suit - to ensure your tan is evenly distributed - without revealing your breasts.

With all this said...I'm not sure that she should be punished for her actions. Unless she did something intentionally sexual to disturb these kids - I think that they need to get over it and let the lady be.

Still...in my opinion - she must have an overflated ego to feel the need to expose herself in the presence of strangers.

My wife is the first person in her family to be born in this country, but she's still largely French, culturally. We tend to vacation in places where topless sunbathing is the norm for women, such as the caribbean, as she thinks it's incredibly odd to not be topless at the beach.

There's just something about boobs that has the ability to enthrall, at least I've always fallen victim thereto. I lived for several years overseas, in Italy, as a matter of fact. I didn't check the dateline on the story in the OP, but I've probably been to or been near the location where this incident occurred. However, even as I get older and after all the Playboy magazines I've slobbered over and all the strip joints I've endowed when I should have been planning my financial future, you know, I still feel the drawing hypnotic power of breasts like a sci-fi tractor beam. Ahhh, to be fourteen again on a topless beach . . . in speedo's. Okay, now I'm starting to understand why these youth were 'troubled'.

I still wouldn't give a fart's butt if a woman was showing her boobs. Heck I think it's much more harder to be a woman than guy. You have to keep worrying about your whole body and many cultures are still demonizing women for little various parts.

I've driven through downtown with a girlfriend topless. We also had our shirts on top of our heads and kept straight faces the whole time....until we passed a cop.

Then it got interesting.

Just letting everyone know that neither one of us was arrested.

It is one thing if the family was at a public beach were topless sunbathing was illegal, but if the family was at a beach where it was legal for a woman to go topless, then I am forced to assume that it wasn't the sons that were upset but the mother.

Here in NYC it is legal for a woman to go topless in the subways, I have yet to see this but it is legal. and for a woman or even a tourist, to throw a fit over a legal act just seems silly.
