I do not! I know better.Don't believe me based upon my word.
Major lies from Trump thus far:
1. Number of people at his inauguration.
2. 3-5 million illegal votes for Clinton which cost him the popular vote.
3. Mexico will pay for the wall.
4. Sweden terrorist attack that never happened.
5. Obama ordered surveillance ("wiretapping" ... haha) of Trump Tower in NYC.
6. "The NSA and FBI tell Congress that Russia did not influence electoral process." (this one was my favorite, as Comey was able to call out Trump on this lie during the actual hearing)
7. "FBI Director Comey refuses to deny he briefed President Obama on calls made by Michael Flynn to Russia." (lol ... frustrated much, Trump?!)
8. Can't release tax returns because of routine audit.
... and the list goes on.
Is Trump finally going to be held accountable for all of these dishonest, untrue claims? Is he going to be a man and admit he was wrong, or is he going to wimp out and hope they all just go away?
What do you mean with "finally"?

Those who are entrenched in the belief that lies don't matter if the right wing uses them won't have their mind changed by a single post. When their lives go downhill and they start suffering the effects of policies and laws, then change might happen. That's human nature. This thread reminds me so much of anti-evolution threads.
I'm not saying you're wrong about Trump's bone headed addressing of reality.
But it's the continual rallying of the troops by repeating the same confirming beliefs.
The purpose isn't to convey information, or even to convince anyone who'd disagree.
It's entrenchment of belief.
Plain old everyday reality, people's sensibilities and actual needs will take care of all of this, one way or another. These folks who live with reality every day cannot be driven to fight a mad narcissist's war on truth and facts or any foreign nation that poses no factual threat. They have no time or desire for it, but they may turn and fight the one trying to drive them to war or away from the truth (denial) if the facts they must respect in order for their lives to have any order. People want order. They want to be safe. I have found that most people who indicate or express outright that they have no need for safety and order are suffering from diagnosable medical conditions, personality disorders and true mental illness. Also, the young (restless teens, young adults), many of those with a serious LACK of education often fall into this basket as well.Trouble is, they have become so used to it that there is hardly anything to lose anymore.
The GOP no longer needs, and perhaps no longer wants, to avoid being ridiculous.
Because he's gone so long, lie after lie, without anything sticking. What do you mean with "finally"?

Well, I guess we can agree to disagree on most of this. I've never seen, in my lifetime, any politician that was this dishonest. Is any politician ever held accountable for any lies or misstatements they make?
It's not that I'm defending Trump, but I do find some of these attacks to be a bit hard to swallow. Let's face it: Politicians lie. Politics is a dirty business. Didn't anyone notice this before now?
I'll tell you why I'm pretty much amused by this whole spectacle. For years, decades in fact, I have hated politicians, politics, and the generally arrogant way the political and financial elite have lorded it over the rest of the country (most of them have been on the conservative side, such as the Reagan Robots, but there have been a few liberals who fell into that as well, such as the Clintons and the Starbucks-drinking Limosine Liberal crowd). Basically, the people in media, academia, and other elite bastions have set the agenda, set the tone, and pretty much dictated the narrative of what "good Americans" are supposed to believe in and support.
At the same time, I've watched the country slowly go down the drain, all the while the politicians from both parties were trying to convince us that we were all better off. It was only the rich who were better off; the middle class stayed the same, while the poor got poorer.
This was all going on under the very noses of the same people who are now all up in arms over Trump in the White House. These same factions who presided over the ruination of America's economy over the past 30-40 years are now trying to convince us that Trump is bad for America. Considering their track record, I would wonder if these people even know what's good for America.
The thing that's so amusing about it all is that Trump is beating them at their own game. What we're seeing is an example of BS vs. BS, scum vs. scum. It's been long overdue, and it's something that America badly needs as a wake-up call.
Well, I guess we can agree to disagree on most of this. I've never seen, in my lifetime, any politician that was this dishonest.
But, wasn't Trump supposed to change all of this? Drain the swamp and what not?
It depends on what you mean by "this dishonest." A lot of politicians show a smiling face in public and put out the glad hand, while behind closed doors they have a much uglier side that they never show in public. Trump doesn't seem to do that; he is ostensibly showing people the "real" Trump.
This is where I don't agree. I don't have a problem with people having two sides. The same is true for pretty much all public figures (athletes, celebrities, even pundits). What bothers me is making public libelous claims about others without being held accountable. It depends on what you mean by "this dishonest." Creationism has no facts, and Leibowde has posted stuff from day 1 until now, meaning they aren't the "same old same old."But facts which are the same old same old, repeated over & over.
Who was the last politician to mock and ridicule the mother of a fallen American soldier and not be held accountable? Can you remember a politician who made a false criminal allegation about their predecessor without being held accountable for it?

Exactly. Matter of fact, they seem to celebrate a day that Trump doesn't lie or say something stupid. It's like "Wow, look, he's semi-honest!".Trouble is, they have become so used to it that there is hardly anything to lose anymore.
The GOP no longer needs, and perhaps no longer wants, to avoid being ridiculous.
. It also deals with expecting some honesty and decency from elected officials.
If it helps, I'm outraged. But, his supporters seem to just point to past politicians to avoid holding him accountable.Who was the last politician to mock and ridicule the mother of a fallen American soldier and not be held accountable?
People say what made Bill bad wasn't his actions but that he lied about it. So, where is the outrage over Trump's soon-to-be myriad of lies told during his term?
