If I was a Muslim I would want ISIS squashed because they are a huge embarrassment. Why can't 1.7 billion Muslims squash a few thousand jihadists, militarily and ideologically?

Or is there in fact more widespread support for the fundamentalists than people want to admit?

I'm still puzzled as to why 1.7 billion people can't get rid of a few thousand extremists in their midst.

Hello Godobeyer, I didn't watch the video, I will later, but I have thought about this for some time now. I have no particular hatred for any religion, and I am thinking that if Islam is a religion of peace and love, but also has powerful words in its holy books. Some adherents to Islam could take those teachings to the extreme such as ISIS. Just as perhaps some so called adherents of my religion could take certain things about it out of context and use it to justify extremist, yet, delusional acts of violence such as human sacrifices to Satan or Set or the Prince of Darkness. Would this be a correct comparison of sorts?

i know many scholars against them , i had this one which subtitled in English .

you comparison is not fair , ISIS is teaching of extrem scholars and calll for actions harm agianst other humans , but other religion as Satan , or sacrifice to Satan is teaching may don't harm others .

for me i had no problem to eliminate ISIS terrorist to save a innocent , whatever his religion .

I suspect that's partly because the West has restrained itself from using certain weapons technologies more adapted to fighting unconventional forces - mostly because said weapons are illegal. Dogs, flame-throwers, white phosphorus, using certain types of land mines etc. These weapons have been outlawed under the Convention on Certain Conventional Weapons which just about all nations which made up the 'Coalition of the Willing' have signed & ratified.

Drones are not covered under this legislation - and they're not effective against an enemy who can retreat underground. Clearing tunnels requires people with the right kind of weapons. It's safe to assume the Taliban had prepared strong defences in their mountain bases and the Coalition would have suffered too many casualties assaulting them.

Yes, the fact innocent people lost (and are still losing) their lives in drone attacks is saddening. In most cases though, they are not the targets. Unfortunately the same cannot be said for innocents killed by the Taliban.

I guess I'm a good example of why the conspirators (and that IS what they are) want the media tightly controlled.
Look at Noam Chomsky - all you need to do is pay attention, note your sources, and present 'the dots' in an obvious line to reveal the underlying rot and corruption.
