It means that anti-Muslim writers are making a big deal about something that isn't widely known in the Muslim world.
You also rather conveniently left out the salient parts...

Taqiyya is an Islamic juridical term whose shifting meaning relates to when a Muslim is allowed, under Sharia law, to lie. A concept whose meaning has varied significantly among Islamic sects, scholars, countries, and political regimes

I am so surprised that Kurds are secular. Just because they are against Turks and arabs make them secular? Pls read some news about honor killings performed by Kurds.

You are just making stuff up. I stated clearly -
"They are brave, desperately fighting for survival.And they are Muslim."

The really weird thing here is I have given an example of
1. Muslims at a grass roots level fighting ISIS
2.They receive no support from anyone in the west.

Which shows the disingenuous nature of criticism that Muslims make no attempt to overcome ISIS. Even when they do, they are dismissed or labelled terrorists. That is very recalcitrant prejudice and bloodymindedness indeed.
