People are probably used to be controled by those clerics.
I think they are too afraid to do something haram that they ask them many questions who will sound very stupid for us.

Does this mean if Micheal Angelo was born a little closer to the equator, would he have had his head chopped off for his magnificent marble creations? Would his splendid statue "David" meet the same fate as the fantastic Afghani stone statues that were blown up and destroyed in the name of the Talibans brand of Allah. I am so happy Islam is a religion of peace, imagine if it were a religion of war.
